The PR-10X controller does it all and is the corner stone of our Access Control System. A PR-10A is required for up to 10 readers. Access authorization is determined by the programmed parameters contained in the controller's memory. These parameters are entered from the PC software and then automatically downloaded into each reader through the controller. Since each user has a unique identification card or PIN, it is possible to limit or permit access to each reader according to different parameters such as day of the week, the time of day, and door number permit. PR-10A controllers maintain the full access control database in memory. Each controller contains all the information regarding cards, schedules, access codes, and can verify access requests even if it is disconnected from the PC network. A lithium battery protects the data in RAM memory if the usual battery backup or UPS is disconnected. This on-board battery also maintains date and time. The Software is included | ||
